packaging has become a favorite choice for marketing and manufacturing companies when selecting a retail package design to push the selling of your products. It combines a high perceived product value with a low cost packing proposition. Blister packaging is one of the most popular as a consumer packaging solution as it display the products clearly to the customer.
Product Type: Baby products packaging
Product type: Medical packaging
Product type: Blister packaging for consumer goods
Product type: Toy packaging
Toy packaging can be as simple as opened, flat bottom or designed and formed to specific shapes to contain the items. In order to safeguard valuable products from climatic changes, malfunction or destruction. Toy packaging serves as an important and necessary part and there are various processes and materials employed for the very same purpose. To use this kind of packaging, we can protect the goods against damage and theft.
Product type: Cosmetic packaging
By using this kind of cosmetic packaging, the components can be well fixed in the blister and very convenient for you go to put on your makeup. Customers do not need to force the product into a bag, blister packaging can be produced in any customized size or shape to fit the products. The product is encased in a cavity of plastic and sealed shut, usually via an assembly line heating process.
Blister packaging is an inexpensive option for creating packages that are durable, transparent, and tamper proof. There are four options for the blister packaging we manufactured include:
1. Face seal blister - A custom thermoformed PVC blister is heat sealed to the front of a blister card.
2. 2 piece blister - This is also referred to as a clamshell packaging where there is a front blister that matches up with a rear blister capturing a graphic card and your product in between them. The two halves can be snapped together or sealed around the edge to secure your products.
3. Combination clamshell and blister - This is a clamshell that incapsulates your products and then snaps closed. This style is especially beneficial for a product. In addition this option allows your products to be viewable from both sides of the blister.
4. Slide blister - This is a thermoformed blister packaging where there is a card to fix the blsiter tightly.
The plastic materials used are APET, PETG, PVC and PS.
PVC is an atactic and therefore basically amorphous polymer. It is amorphous, transparent and relatively permeable to water vapour. This plastic packing material offers excellent rigidity up to temperatures around its glass transition temperature. PVC has excellent resistance to abrasion and is fragile on impact at low temperatures. Non laminated PVC has good resistance (up to 60°C) to acids and bases as well as oils, alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons. However, this plastic packaging materials sensitive to aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons. PVC has good insulating properties. It breaks down in a flame, releasing hydrochloric acid gas, but is self extinguishing.
PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) is made from ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. There are two main types of PET: Amorphous PET (APET) and Crystalline PET (CPET), the main difference being that CPET is partly crystallized, while APET is amorphous. Due to its partially crystalline structure, CPET is opaque, while APET´s amorphous structure provides glass quality clarity. APET, amorphous Polyethylene Terephthalate, is suitable for use between -40°C and +70°C. APET is an extremely tough material with good impact strength. APET is an extremely effective barrier against oxygen, water, carbon dioxide and nitrogen.
PETG is known as glycolised polyester. The "G" represents glycol modifiers, which are incorporated mainly to minimize brittleness of polyethylene terephthalate (PET or APET). PETG, this plastic packing materials are claimed to more environmentally friendly than PVC. PETG offers comparable physical performance properties to PVC and meet a broad cross-section of PVC-based applications. PETG is an amorphous plastic packing material, meaning the polymer molecules are not aligned or ordered within the material. It is produced in a roll calendaring process similar to that used to make standard PVC. As a result, PETG has many features similar to PVC with similar temperature resistance and durability. PETG has found a market where customers are looking to produce "environmentally" friendly product. PETG products are copolymers of PET. The product is often formed into PETG film or sheets for thermoforming applications. It can also be stretch blow molded to produce clear plastic bottles with good aroma and gas protection.
The polystyrene (PS) mostly seen is the white, very light, friable, expanded or foamed polystyrene (PS-E). Although this plastic packing material is recyclable it has such a large volume to mass ratio that it is completely uneconomical to transport and recycle at present. Only the solid PS is recycled and it is also in demand. Disposable plates, cutlery and yoghurt containers, margarine, ice cream, take-away food tubs and lids, take-away beverage glasses and lids, easily breakable plastics toys, swizzle sticks, visiting card boxes etc. are made from PS. When bent and pressed, PS snaps easily whilst PP does not. Most of the PS items are glass clear or transparent if colored. When tapped with a finger nail, solid PS items also have a "tinny" sound.
